“We have so many children in the slums. Their lives are very hard and they are suffering greatly from hunger, sickness, lack of proper shelter and even lack of affection. If you come and visit us, what you will see here will shock you, as I am sure you have never seen anything like the slums of Dhaka before. Please help us so that we can provide these impoverished children with life’s most basic needs and most importantly, an education. Only then can we break this cycle of destitution and poverty.“

Sunil is a Bangladeshi national who has chosen to dedicate his life to raising the standards of living of underprivileged children. Sunil has lived all his childhood in similar conditions to the slums that C2C works in, giving him a unique and personal inside view on their situation. Before joining The Choice To Change, Sunil had more than eight years experience in providing education to children in other slums in the suburbs of Dhaka. He has been vital and instrumental in helping set this organisation up. Besides managing C2C’s two branches, he also has the responsibility of meeting and guiding visitors and volunteers who come to Dhaka to provide help or take part in our organisation. Sunil and his wife are fully dedicated to C2C in every sense.
